Sand Gnats Announce Name Collection for Military Appreciation Night Jersey

Savannah Sand Gnats News Release
Savannah, Ga. - The Savannah Sand Gnats announced today that their upcoming Military Appreciation Night on Thursday, August 13th, will feature an auction of specially-designed jerseys incorporating names of military service members.
Names submitted to the Gnats will be included in the jersey design in an effort recognize the individual service of members within Savannah's broader military community, and to honor the sacrifices of all of America's servicemen and women.
If you would like the Sand Gnats to include your name or the name of a loved one who served or is serving in the military, past or present, send his or her first and last name to jersey@sandgnats.com. Inclusion of rank is preferred but not required. Deadline for submission is Monday, June 22nd.
The jerseys will be worn by Sand Gnats players on August 13th, and a silent auction of the jerseys will take place during that game with proceeds benefiting military charities. Auction winners will receive their jerseys on the field following the game.
The Sand Gnats Military Appreciation Night offers free general admission tickets to active duty and veteran members of the military with military I.D. and $5 discounted tickets to military dependents.
