Savannah Sand Gnats News Release

CHARLESTON, SC - Friday night's contest between the Charleston RiverDogs and the Savannah Sand Gnats at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park was postponed due to inclement weather that caused the facility and the surrounding areas on the Charleston peninsula to lose power.

The RiverDogs and Sand Gnats are now scheduled for a doubleheader Saturday, with the first game set to begin at 4:05 p.m. Both games will be seven innings in length.

Right-hander Sean Black (5-7, 4.30) is set to pitch the first game for Charleston, while Savannah counters with right-hander Armando Rodriguez (6-6, 3.18). Game 2 features Charleston's left-hander Josh Romanski (7-3, 3.36) facing off against Savannah's left-hander Darin Gorski (4-6, 3.68).
