OTTAWA - RHP Brian Sanches has been recalled by the Philadelphia Phillies.
Sanches, 28, was 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA and a team-leading 10 saves in 24 games with the Lynx this season. He was second on the team with 39 strikeouts and walked only four batters in 30 innings of work for the Lynx.
He made his Major League debut with the Phillies last season, posting no record and a 5.91 ERA with 23 strikeouts in 18 games. Sanches has a career 38-42 record and 35 saves over his nine Minor League seasons.
