THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Tuesday, Dec. 9 vs. Chicago Wolves

AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.

After taking the first game in the season series with a 2-1 win on Sunday evening, the Rampage look to get another big win over a tough Western Conference opponent. This will be the last home matchup of the season against Chicago. The Rampage and the Wolves will meet two more times, as the Silver and Black travel to the Windy City during the Rodeo Road Trip.

Thursday, Dec. 11 at Iowa Wild

Wells Fargo Arena, 7:00 p.m.

San Antonio and Iowa meet for the third time this season and the first time at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines on Thursday. The Rampage are 2-0-0-0 against the Wild, and each game has been a one-goal victory The Silver and Black won the first matchup 3-2 in the season opener and came away with a 5-4 shootout victory on Nov. 30.

Friday, Dec. 12 at Iowa Wild

Wells Fargo Arena, 7:00 p.m.

The Rampage and the Wild meet for the last time in the 2014 calen- dar year on Friday. Tyler Graovac and Jordan Schroeder have led the Wild against San Antonio with each tallying a goal and three assists in the two games this season. For the Rampage, Mark Mancari has two goals and two assists and Bobby Butler has added two goals and one assist against Iowa.

UGLY HOLIDAY SWEATER NIGHT

Saturday, Dec. 27

The Rampage will carry the holiday spirit past Christ- mas Day when they host Ugly Holiday Sweater Night on Saturday, Dec. 27. Fans are encouraged to wear their most hideous holiday sweaters, and the team will wear ugly holiday sweater themed jerseys, which will be auctioned off after the game.

LEAGUE LEADERS: Drew Shore is tied for fifth in the American Hockey League with 22 points and ranks third in the league in assists (17). Shane O'Brien sits in eighth among AHL defensemen with 13 points on the season.

PICKING UP POINTS: Only three teams have played more overtime games than the Rampage, who have needed extra time seven times this season, six of which have come on home ice. The Silver and Black have picked up 12 points in games that have gone to overtime or a shootout, which trails only West Division rival Oklahoma City, which has picked up 16 points in extra time.

NEW GUY: Defenseman Jesse Blacker was acquired by the Florida Panthers on Dec. 4 in exchange for Colby Robak and future draft pick considerations. Blacker was loaned to San Antonio later that day.

ICE CHIPS: Steven Kampfer - Rampage Defenseman

Steven Kampfer, who was acquired from the New York Rangers in a trade for forward Joey Crabb on Oct. 6, has been a big contributor for the Rampage this season. Kampfer ranks second on the team among defenseman with six goals and six assists. He's been a solid boost to San Antonio's power play, which ranks fourth in the league at 21.6 percent. Kampfer leads the Silver and Black with three power-play goals.
