Jets Recall Patrice Cormier from St. John's IceCaps

The Winnipeg Jets announced they have recalled forward Patrice Cormier from the St. John's IceCaps of the American Hockey League. The Winnipeg Jets also announced they have placed defenceman Grant Clitsome on IR retroactive to Nov. 29.

Cormier, 24, has played in 17 games this season with the St. John's IceCaps collecting 10 points (4G, 6A) and 21 penalty minutes. He was previously with the Jets this season, but did not appear in a game during a recent recall from Oct. 25-31. Cormier has compiled five points (1G, 4A) in 49 career NHL games with Winnipeg and the Atlanta Thrashers. The Moncton, NB native has collected 85 points (40G, 45A) and 277 penalty minutes in 180 AHL games with St. John's and the Chicago Wolves. He was originally drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round, 54th overall, in the 2008 NHL Draft.
