San Antonio Rampage News Release

THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Tuesday, March 19 at Texas Stars Cedar Park Center, 7:30 p.m.

The Rampage earned their first win at Cedar Park Center this season on March 8 thanks to a goal by Jed Ortmeyer in the franchise-record 12th round of the shootout. Texas still remains atop the Western Conference with 81 points. The Stars have won two of their last three games since falling to the Rampage in the record-setting shootout earlier this month.

Tuesday's game will air live on FOX Sports Southwest and will be the final time the Rampage travel to Cedar Park Center this season.

Saturday, March 23 vs Oklahoma City Barons AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.

Saturday's game will mark the 12th and final meeting between the divi- sional rivals this season. The Rampage own a 4-5-0-2 record against the Barons this year, but dropped two games against Oklahoma City at AT&T Center last week. Greg Rallo leads the Rampage in scoring against Oklahoma City, tallying four goals and three assists in seven games. Saturday's game will also air live on FOX Sports Southwest.

Sunday, March 24 vs Rochester Americans AT&T Center, 4:30 p.m.

The Rampage will have an opportunity to gain ground in the playoff standings in their final meeting of the year against Rochester on Sunday.

The Amerks currently occupy the sixth spot in the Western Conference, but are only seven points ahead of the Rampage. Rochester enters this week after dropping two-straight games. San Antonio claimed a 4-2 win on Nov. 28 in the only other meeting between the two teams this season.

TV GAMES - March 19, 23

Dan Weiss and Andrew Monaco will call the final two games set to air live on FOX Sports Southwest this week. On Tuesday the Rampage will travel up I-35 to take on the Texas Stars at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday the Rampage return to AT&T Center to square off against the Oklahoma City Barons at 7:30 p.m.

SUNDAY FUNDAY - March 24

Rampage fans can enjoy inflatables and interactive activities prior to the game and a free skate starting two hours prior to the game. For only $13 fans receive a game ticket, a hot dog, chips and a soda.

TIGHTNING UP: With a little more than a month to play in the regular season, the playoff race is tightening up. Only six points separate seventh place and 13th place in the stand- ings. San Antonio is currently six points back with 16 games remaining.

STREAKY: Rampage forward Zach Hamill is currently on a six-game point scoring streak.

The center, who was acquired via trade on Jan. 31, has tallied one goal and five assists in his last six games. Since being acquired, Hamill has recorded 16 points in 16 games and has only been held off the scoresheet in four games.

NICE IMPRESSION: Rampage forward Jack Combs tallied two goals in Sunday's 5-4 shootout loss to Abbotsford in only his second game since being acquired from the Bridge- port Sound Tigers via trade last week.

POWER PLAY: The Rampage have scored on the power play in nine of their last 12 games, going 13-for-54 in that span.

ICE CHIPS: Greg Rallo - Forward

Greg Rallo factored in every Rampage goal in Friday's 4-2 win over Houston at AT&T Center. Rallo recorded two goals and two assists in the game, marking the most points a Rampage player has recorded in one game this season. The 6-foot, 188-pound forward leads the team in goals (21) and has now eclipsed the 20-goal plateau in three of his last four seasons. Prior to being held off the scoresheet on Sunday, Rallo was on a five-game point scoring streak in which he lit the lamp five times and chipped in four assists.
