WEEK IN REVIEW

Wednesday, March 13th : Portland 6, Adirondack 3

The Pirates took the lead in the first period and never let it go, defeating Adirondack by a 6-3 score. Alexandre Bolduc extended his point streak to 5 games with a goal and an assist, and Chris Brown and Jordan Szwarz both added a goal and an assist of their own.

Saturday, March 16th : Wilkes-Barre/Scranton 3, Portland 2

The Pirates jumped out to an early lead, getting goals from Andy Miele and Boris Valabik just 30 seconds apart, but the Penguins were able to score the final 3 goals of the game to earn the win. This is first game between the Pirates and Penguins not to go past regulation this season.

THIS COMING WEEK

Friday, March 22nd vs. St. John's (7:00 PM)

The Pirates will host the IceCaps in the first game of a 2 game series on Friday night. Puck drops at 7 PM for Maine Public Broadcasting Night!

Saturday, March 23rd vs. St. John's (7:00 PM)

The Pirates and IceCaps will square off in the second game of their 2 game series, the final game between the two at the Civic Center this year. Puck drop is set for 7 PM. It will be Save Your Smile Night presented by Delta Dental

Sunday, March 24th at Adirondack (3:00 PM)

The Pirates travel to Glens Falls for the first time since their season opener to face the Phantoms on Sunday afternoon. Puck drop is set for 3 PM for the final matchup between the two teams this season.

Practice will be held at the Cumberland County Civic Center at 10:30 AM on Monday - Thursday and is open to the public.

SALTY PETE'S PIRATES OF THE WEEK

1) Chris Brown, Jordan Szwarz, and Alexandre Bolduc all had 1 goal, 1 assist games against Adirondack on Wednesday. Bolduc's assist extended his point streak to 5 games.

2) David Rundblad is on a 3 game point streak, having scored 2 goals and 2 assists over a 3 game span

3) Mathieu Brodeur had 2 assists against Adirondack on Wednesday
