Quotes:
Head Coach Alen Marcina
(On the loss...)
"We're as a collective disappointed with the result, to go down a goal that early ... was difficult. And to have an injury, obviously we faced some challenges and adversity tonight. We fought hard to try and come back, and got one back, unfortunately had a player sent off and made it difficult. Yeah disappointed, we'll learn from this, put it behind us, move on and be ready for our next opponent."
(On the team's resilience...)
"We did do some good things tonight, made it very difficult for Sacramento and created some good opportunities, but at the end of the day we didn't do enough to get a result. Obviously as a collective we're disappointed, and just more hungry to bounce back and have a big result against Birmingham."
Defender Connor Maloney
(On the loss...)
"The boys went down in the eighth minute, I take full responsibility for that one. Took a guy down in the box, gotta take that one on the chin and learn from it, and do anything and everything this week to make it up. I think the guys fought, fought hard, there was a lot of resilience tonight. Went down 2-0, came back 2-1 gave ourselves a chance, throughout the game there were a lot of positives to take away from it. So I'm proud of the boys for their resilience, and we move on and we look at Birmingham now."
(On the team's mood...)
"I think he [Alen Marcina] does a good job of having a mindset shift to the next game. This is a marathon not a sprint. There's always the next game, and the next game is Birmingham. So we have our focus on that right now, and we've got to be ready because they're a good team."
