What they had to say:
Head Coach Alen Marcina
(On the 10 day break...)
"I think the break was definitely beneficial. A lot of minutes for a select amount of players. We think it's important and we do believe in a mid-season break, just to physically try to allow the bodies to maybe heal for some. Hopefully, freshen up for others and then at the same time, mentally it's good to step away, focus on family, focus on activities outside the game. Just so when you come back, you know, it's time to focus back and week to week trying to fight and earn three points"
Defender Carter Manley
(On a stretch of tough opponents...)
"We like playing the tough teams. We want to play the best teams. That's nothing that we're backing down from and something we look forward to. So going into those games and performing how well we did and executing what we need to do. I think it shows a lot of confidence in ourselves individually and as a team that we're doing the right things and this is the way forward for us."
