San Antonio FC News Release

SAN ANTONIO - San Antonio FC has added forward Jack Lynn on loan for the 2022 season from Orlando City SC. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed. Lynn spent the 2022 season with MLS Next Pro side Orlando City B after being selected in the first round of the 2022 MLS SuperDraft by Orlando City SC.

"We are delighted to welcome Jack to the team and are thankful to Orlando City for enabling the loan," said Head Coach Alen Marcina. "He holds a team-first mentality with an unwavering commitment to the off-the-ball runs both in the attack and the press. Over his young career, Jack has proven the ability to score goals and we are eager to see this trend continue."

While with Orlando City B, Lynn scored 15 times in just 18 matches. The Notre Dame product assisted four times with a 72.1% pass success rate.

Lynn recorded a brace in his MLS Next Pro debut, finishing the season with three braces and a hat trick. Lynn made his MLS debut as well in 2022, appearing in three MLS matches.

Prior to being selected 18th overall in 2022, Lynn appeared in 79 collegiate games, 57 starts, for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Across four seasons, Lynn scored 31 goals and assisted eight times, including 10 goals and four assists as a senior. As a freshman, Lynn scored three times and added three more assists while starting just three games.

Lynn and San Antonio FC are at home on Saturday, hosting New Mexico United at Toyota Field. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. CT kickoff are on sale at SanAntonioFC.com or the SAFC app. The match will also be broadcast on ESPN+, as well as Bally Sports Southwest Extra.
