Match Notes
West Coast Travel - Red Bulls II will travel to Laney College Football Stadium to face Oakland Roots SC, marking just the fourth time in club history that New York will play a match on the West Coast. The club will look for its first victory on the West Coast. It also marks the third time since July of 2021 that New York will travel to play an opponent on the opposite coast.
Tough Remaining Stretch - Four of New York's last five matches will be played away from MSU Soccer Park, including the last three. Out of the remaining matches, three will come against teams that are currently above the playoff line in the Eastern Conference, all of which will be played on the road.
Close to History - O'Vonte Mullings has five assists in his first professional season and is two away from passing Justin Bilyeu for second in club history for assists by a defender. This season, he is tied for fifth in USL Championship for assists, behind only Amadou Dia, Edgardo Rito, Ricky Ruiz, and Deklan Wynne.
