Sam Borschowa Signs with the Warriors

Moose Jaw, SK - The Moose Jaw Warriors are pleased to announce Sam Borschowa has signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.

"We are excited to add Sam to our defensive group," General manager Jason Ripplinger said.

Borschowa was listed by the Warriors and attended the team's 2022 training camp.

"Sam is a smooth skating defensemen with good offensive instincts. We're looking forward to see Sam grow as player," Ripplinger said.

The McTaggart, SK product has played 35 games with the Notre Dame Hounds in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League this season, posting two goals, nine points and 38 penalty minutes.

Last season with the Hounds under-18 AAA team, he finished with five goals and 23 points in 43 games.

"I would also like to the thank the Notre Dame junior A Hounds and Brett Pilkington for their cooperation in giving Sam this opportunity," Ripplinger added.

The Warriors welcome Sam and his family into the organization and the City of Moose Jaw.

Borschowa is scheduled to make his WHL debut on Friday night when the Warriors host the Winnipeg ICE at the Moose Jaw Events Centre before finishing his season with the Hounds.
