Important Dates:
- The Stars (4-4) will play one road game and two home games this week:
Today, Monday Jan. 16
- The Stars battle the Texas Legends (Dallas Mavericks affiliate) at 2:30 p.m. today, Jan. 16 at the Comerica Center in Frisco, TX.
- The game will be broadcast on NBAGLeague.com.
Thursday, Jan. 19
- The Stars will host the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at Vivint Arena with a 7 p.m. tip-off.
- The theme of the night's game will be 'Throwback' as the Stars sport classic Utah Stars inspired uniforms, that will be available for auction after the game.
- This will be a Jr. Jazz activation night, filled with balloon artists, scavenger hunts, face-painting, and fun prizes.
- The game will stream on ESPN+ and can be heard on 1280 AM/97.5 The Zone.
Fort Wayne Mad Ants:
- This will be the first time since Mar. 2, 2021, that the teams will compete. The Stars grabbed the win 109-93 in their previous match-up.
- The teams are 3-2 against each other in the all-time series. The Stars won the last meeting between the teams on Mar. 2, 2021, 109-93 in the G League Orlando bubble.
- The Mad Ants currently sit at 3-3.
Saturday, Jan. 21
- The Stars will- return to the Maverik Center to battle the South Bay Lakers (Los Angeles Lakers affiliate) at 7 p.m. in their first match-up of the G League regular season.
- The game will be streamed on NBAGLeague.com.
South Bay Lakers:
- This will be the Lakers first trip to Salt Lake City since the Showcase Cup on Nov. 29, 2022, when they defeated the Stars 125-120 at the Maverik Center.
- The Stars trail in the all-time series 11-5. The Lakers defeated the Stars in the previous meeting, Dec. 2, 2022, 141-120.
- The Lakers currently sit at 5-3.

Recent Roster Movement:
- The Stars claimed UCLA's Chris Smith off waivers and waived forward Paris Bass.
- Signed to a two-way contract with the Detroit Pistons in 2021
- Appeared in 18 games on assignment with the Motor City Cruise of the NBA G League games. With Motor City, coming off his rehabbing of the knee, Smith averaged 8.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, in 22.5 minutes per contest.
- He last played for the Cruise on March 8, due to his ACL injury returning.
- Named to the NBA G league Showcase First Team.
- Had his best game of UCLA senior season against the Utes, going 6-of-6 from the field in the first half, finishing the game with 16 points in just 22 minutes of play
