Salmon Kings' Loan Brandt To Moose

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Salmon Kings, proud affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks and Manitoba Moose, announced today that forward Andy Brandt has been loaned to the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League (AHL).

The 26-year old Brandt joins the Moose for his second stint in the AHL this season after participating in two games with the Lake Erie Monsters in January where he recorded no points or penalty minutes. The two games with the Monsters were the forward's first professional contests outside of the ECHL.

The native of Wausau, Wisconsin has played in 56 games for the Salmon Kings this season where he has accumulated 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points while serving 31 minutes in penalties.

For his professional career, Brandt has 102 points (40g-62a) in 206 games played with 98 penalty minutes.

The Salmon Kings' roster now sits at 22 players (13 forwards, 8 defensemen, and 1 goaltender).

The Salmon Kings continue their three-game set in Stockton versus the Thunder with contests tonight and tomorrow. Victoria returns home to host the National Conference leading Idaho Steelheads for a three-game set with matches on Wednesday, March 10th, Friday, March 12th, and Saturday, March 13th.
