Countdown to Face-Off

For the first time since March 28, 2007, the Kalamazoo Wings will tangle with the Elmira Jackals. Once combatants in the United Hockey League; tonight will be their first of four clashes in the month of March between the teams.

Tying a season-high six-game winning streak with a 6-3 victory on Thursday, the K-Wings enter the First Arena also hoping to extend a season-high eight-game (7-0-0-1) unbeaten streak. With 73 points, Kalamazoo is in second place in the North Division and in fourth place overall in the American Conference.

With a record of 8-2-0-0 in their last 10 games, Elmira has created plenty of breathing room in the East Division. The Jackals lead the east by nine points over the Reading Royals and are currently positioned in third in the American Conference.
