Brandon Wheat Kings News Release

Brandon, Manitoba - The Keystone Centre has announced that the new private suites in Westman Communications Group Place will go on sale next week. General Manager Dan Robertson says that after months of work, construction on the new suites is nearing completion.

"The private suites in Westman Place are nearing completion and we are now ready to start marketing them to interested buyers," says Robertson. "The construction process has gone very well and has resulted in minimal impact on the facility users thanks to the efforts and cooperation of our general contractor, we are pleased with the end result."

"Finishing work is ongoing and the suites are expected to be ready for use in January," Robertson went on to say.

While TL Penner Construction of Kola is the general contractor of this project, the Western Hockey League's Brandon Wheat Kings are expected to act on behalf of the Keystone Centre as the selling agent for the private suites.

"The Wheat Kings success in being awarded the 2010 MasterCard Memorial Cup was the impetus for the construction of the suites," says past Keystone Centre Board Chairperson Ken Fitzpatrick, "and as a major tenant of the building, they are responsible for 40 to 50 event nights per year in Westman Place, which means the Wheat Kings will have close ties to potential buyers."

"The private suites will offer a tremendous experience for our clients," says Wheat Kings' Owner and General Manager Kelly McCrimmon. "They are state of the art, with all of the amenities that our customers would want."

A brief tour of the private suites will be offered to potential partners next week and anyone interested in participating is asked to contact Rick Dillabough of the Wheat Kings at 726-3536 or by email at rickdillabough@wheatkings.com by 5 p.m. Monday, November 30th.
