Record For Season- 7-4-0 (14 pts) 1st Place in Southwest Division

Coming Up This Week – The Saints play 4 games in 5 days this week with a home game Tuesday against Fort Worth, a road game Thursday in Lubbock and home games Friday and Saturday against Rio Grande Valley.

Upcoming Promotions – For Veteran's Day Tuesday night the Saints are handing out free miniature U.S. Flags to the first 2,500 fans through the doors and anyone with a military ID Card can get $5 tickets. The Goodfellow AFB Honor Guard and Choir will post the colors and the intermissions will feature an Inter-Service Tug-of-War Contest between the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines at GAFB. Friday the first 2,500 fans will get free Saints Koozies and anyone with an Angelo State University ID Card can get $6 tickets. Saturday night the first 1,000 fans get free keychains and there is a Post-Game Party with the Saints players at Outback Steakhouse.

Week In Review – The Saints went 2-0-0 this week with road wins over Odessa and Corpus Christi to up the Saints road record to 4-4-0.

Nov. 7th / San Angelo 4 - Odessa 3 (OT) / Ryan Finnerty scored two goals and Chris Peach scored the game-winner with 41 seconds left in overtime to lead the Saints to the win. The Saints went 3-for-4 on the power-play and Scott Reid saved 40 of 43 shots for the win. Matt Frick (1G, 2A), Finnerty (2G, 1A) and Peach (1G, 1A) had multi-point games for the Saints. The Saints are now 3-0-0 against Odessa this season.

Nov. 8th / San Angelo 1 - Corpus Christi 0 / Scott Reid recorded the first road shut-out in Saints history with a 37-save performance and Dustin Hunter scored his first professional goal to lead the Saints to the win in a fast-paced, evenly-played game. Both teams had multiple power-play opportunities, but the Rayz ended up 0-for-7 and the Saints 0-for-5 as both goaltenders shined. The Saints scored on the first shift of the 2nd period and Reid made it stand up saving all 29 shots he faced in the 2nd and 3rd periods.

Injury Report – Steve Roberts, Jarret Metz and Taras Foremsky each missed both games this past weekend with injuries and remain on injured reserve. Roberts is day-to-day, but Metz and Foremsky are not eligible to come off injured reserve until Nov. 16th. Dustin Hunter and Scott Lega were added to the roster this week to take up some of the slack and both played well in the team's wins.
