Bucks Booster Club Golf Tournament

Laredo Bucks News Release
LAREDO, Texas â The Laredo Bucks Booster Club will have a golf tournament on Sunday, November 23rd, at the Casa Blanca Golf Course beginning at 9 a.m. The tournament will be a four person scramble, each team consisting of three people with the fourth being a Laredo Bucks player or staff member provided by the golf tournament committee. Tournament is limited to the first 18 teams.
"This golf tournament will help us raise not only money for the booster club, but also awareness about the club," said Bucks Booster Club President Jessica Walker. "It will create camaraderie and give the people a chance to meet the players and have a good time."
Tournament entry fee is $300 per three person team with the tournament featuring a shotgun start. The entry fee includes greens fees, golf cart, breakfast on the course for participants in the tournament and three beverage tickets.
"The booster club has been a huge asset for us this year," said Bucks Head Coach Terry Ruskowski. "They fed the players in training camp and they've been so helpful this year. They took a bus down to Rio Grande Valley this past Saturday night and helped cheer us on to a victory. We are so proud to have a club like this helping the Bucks."
The tournament will have prizes on every hole, including two Rolex watch hole-in-one chances that are sponsored by Deutsch and Deutsch at Mall del Norte. Door prizes will also be given away. For more information call 753-3233 or e-mail rwalker836@aol.com.
