Saad and Trocheck Wrap up Top Prospects Stint

Saginaw Spirit forwards Brandon Saad and Vincent Trocheck represented the team at the 2011 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game this week, with both playing on Team Orr.

Saad earned a score of 31, fourth best on the Team Orr roster, for the Show-Down Breakaway Contest Trocheck had the second hardest shot on the Team Orr roster, with a 92.4 mile per hour slapshot in the hardest shot category. Wednesday night Trocheck tallied a goal in Team Orr's 7-1 win over Team Cherry.

Both players are top ranked prospects for the upcoming NHL Entry Draft, with Saad ranked 8th and Trocheck ranked 42nd amongst North American skaters eligible by the draft according to NHL Central Scouting in the mid-term rankings.
