
Rye Makes OHL Debut in Road Loss to Generals

(Oshawa, ON) - On Sunday, December 17, the Peterborough Petes traveled to Oshawa to take on the rival Oshawa Generals in their last game before the Holiday break. Oshawa won the game by a score of 5-1.
Jax Dubois scored the lone goal for the Petes, giving him seven points in his last three games. Ryder McIntyre picked up an assist in his first game against his former team, while Jonathan Melee also had an assist. Peterborough native Easton Rye made his Ontario Hockey League debut in relief, stopping all seven shots faced.

The Petes are back in action on Thursday, December 28 when they travel to Kingston to take on the Kingston Frontenacs. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Leon's Centre. Fans can catch the game at the Official Road Game Watch Party at Shoeless Joe's Peterborough. The game will also be broadcasted on YourTV Peterborough and Freq 90.5.
