After being acquired in October of 2006 from Reading in exchange for future considerations, he went on to lead Utah with 85 points (39 goals, 46 assists) in 60 games.
"Ryan's numbers speak for themselves and he has been the most dominating player in the league since coming to Utah in 2005," said Colley. "He has been very loyal to the organization here and has become one of the most recognized names in team and Utah hockey history."
Kinasewich, who served as the Grizzlies captain in 2008-2009, returns to Utah as the second leading scorer in team history with 108 goals and 145 assists for 253 points in 180 total games. In four years with the Grizzlies, Kinasewich has averaged 1.40 points-per-game and averaged over a point a game in each season in a Grizzlies sweater.
The Grizzlies open the 2009-2010 season Friday, October 16 in Las Vegas with the home opening E-Center weekend being Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24 when they will host Idaho.
