Stingrays Announce Game Changes to 2009-10 Schedule

South Carolina Stingrays News Release


North Charleston, SC - The Kelly Cup Champion South Carolina Stingrays, ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, announced today changes to fourteen games on the 2009-10 regular season schedule.

The changes, including those to opponents, were made following the release of the National Basketball Association schedule which affected the availability of Charlotte Bobcats Arena, home of the Checkers of the ECHL and the Bobcats of the NBA.

The following games were changed:

Home Saturday, November 14 vs. Gwinnett will now be vs. Charlotte at 7:05 p.m.

Friday, November 20 vs. Johnstown will now be vs. Gwinnett at 7:05 p.m.

Sunday, November 22 vs. Gwinnett will now be vs. Johnstown at 4 p.m.

Thursday, December 3 vs. Elmira will now be played on Saturday, December 5 at 7:05 p.m.

Sunday, December 13 has been added; the team will play Charlotte at 4 p.m.

Saturday, January 16 has been added; the team will play Kalamazoo at 7:05 p.m.

Sunday, January 17 vs. Kalamazoo will now be vs. Gwinnett at 12:30 p.m.

Away Wednesday, November 18 has been added; the team will play at Charlotte at 7 p.m.

Friday, December 4, originally vs. Charlotte, will now be played at Gwinnett at 7:35 p.m.

Sunday, December 20, originally vs. Charlotte, will now be played at Charlotte at 2 p.m.

Wednesday, December 30 at Charlotte has been cancelled

Wednesday, March 3 at Charlotte has been cancelled

Tuesday, March 30 at Charlotte has been cancelled

Wednesday, March 31 has been added; the team will play at Gwinnett at 7:05 p.m.
