Ryan Craig Recalled by Columbus, Langlois Recalled by Springfield

Springfield, Mass. - The Springfield Falcons announced Sunday that captain Ryan Craig was recalled by the Columbus Blue Jackets, the team's NHL affiliate. In conjunction, the Falcons recalled forward Jeremy Langlois from the Evansville IceMen of the ECHL.

Craig has played three games for the Blue Jackets this season, recording three shots and a -2 rating. In 22 games with the Falcons this season, the Abbotsford, British Columbia native has totaled 12 points (six goals, six assists) and a +6 rating.

Craig scored his sixth goal of the season Saturday versus Bridgeport, matching Jason McBain for eighth on Springfield's all-time points list at 122.

Langlois returns to the Falcons after playing 19 games with the IceMen, totaling 24 points (10 goals, 14 assists) and a +7 rating. The 6-foot, 173-pound winger is scoreless in three games with the Falcons this season.

The Falcons host the Providence Bruins at the MassMutual Center Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
