Rush Set to Take on Arizona Sundogs in Pair of Preseason Games

(Rapid City, SD) - The Rapid City Rush will play the first of two preseason games against the Arizona Sundogs tonight at 7:05pm in the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Ice Arena. The second and final preseason contest is set for tomorrow, October 10th at 6:05pm. General admission tickets are still available for just $10.
Rapid City's 26 contracted players have been battling since Monday in a high-tempo training camp, looking to earn a spot on the final 19-man roster. This weekend's games will give head coach Joe Ferras and assistant coach Mark DeSantis a good look at the talent brought in and assist them in making a final decision.
Tickets to the preseason games are free for Rush season ticket holders while general admission tickets are just $10.
Last year, the Rush swept a pair of preseason games away from the Amarillo Gorillas with 7-3 and 7-2 victories.
The Rush open up the 2010-11 regular season on Saturday, October 16th in Fort Wayne to take on the defending IHL Champion Komets.
Rapid City's home opener is set for Saturday, October 23rd at 7:05pm against the Colorado Eagles. Tickets are still available for that contest.
