January 18, 2012 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Rapid City Rush News Release
(Rapid City, SD) - Today, the Rapid City Rush announced a change to the 2011-12 regular season home finale. Due to the postponement of the Blake Shelton concert, the Rush have moved their March 21st game against the Bloomington Blaze to Monday, March 19th. Ticket holders are to use the ticket from the 21st for the game on the 19th.
"Our great partnership with the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center has been a major reason for our success over the past 4 years," said Rush General Manager Tim Hill. "We work as a team to make sure that the Rapid City Rush will be entertaining the Black Hills for many years to come. When we are asked to consider moving a game date to accommodate the concert change, we did not hesitate. Brian Maliske and his staff would have done the same for us!"
The Blake Shelton concert was originally set for this Thursday, however the passing of Blake's father, Dick Shelton. Mr. Shelton, moved the concert back to the March 21st date.
Fans with questions are encouraged to call the Rush office at 716-7825.
