Rush Land Kozevnikov from Bandits

Saskatchewan Rush News Release
SASKATOON, SK - The Saskatchewan Rush picked up a new forward on Wednesday.
GM Derek Keenan acquired Nathaniel Kozevnikov from the Buffalo Bandits.
Kozevnikov, a British Columbia product, played the 2023 summer season with the Langley Senior A Thunder, where he put up 29 points in 12 games.
In three NLL games, the 6'1 RH forward has a goal and two assists. Kozevnikov was selected by the Bandits in the second round (29th overall) of the 2019 NLL Entry Draft.
In exchange, the Rush sent the Bandits Austin Madronic, who then Buffalo flipped to the New York Riptide.
"Kozenikov is a big, strong righty O guy we've been interested in for some time. He really fills a need for some size and physicality on that side of the floor. With Madronic working full-time and living full-time in NYC, it was essentially impossible logistically for him to continue to play in Saskatchewan. We get a good young player in return and Austin gets a chance to continue to play in the NLL."
The Saskatchewan Rush currently hold six picks in the 2023 NLL Entry Draft which will be held on September 16th in Toronto.
