
Bandits Ink Wyers to Two-Year Contract

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Buffalo Bandits today announced the team has signed defenseman Cam Wyers to a two-year contract, pending league approval.
Wyers (6'5", 220 lbs., 9/14/1999) was selected in the first round (13th overall) by the Bandits in the 2022 NLL Entry Draft. Wyers played five seasons of college lacrosse at Loyola University and finished his career with 10 points (3+7), 157 ground balls and 79 caused turnovers in 69 career games. The Ottawa, Ontario native earned All-America honors three times from USILA while at Loyola. Wyers represented Canada at the 2023 FIL World Championships, earning a silver medal in the tournament. The defenseman played in all seven games and recorded eight loose-ball recoveries and four caused turnovers.
