Rush Kick-Off 2012 Preseason against the Denver Cutthroats

(Rapid City, SD) - The Rapid City Rush will play the first of two preseason games against the Denver Cutthroats tonight at 7:05pm at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Ice Arena. The second and final preseason contest is set for tomorrow, October 13th at 7:05pm. General admission tickets are still available for just $10.
Rapid City's 22 contracted players have been battling since Monday in a high-tempo training camp, looking to earn a spot on the final 19-man roster. The two contests will give head coach Joe Ferras and a good look at the talent brought in and assist him in making a final decision.
Tickets to the preseason games are free for Rush season ticket holders while general admission tickets are just $10.
The Rush begin the 2011-12 regular season on Friday, October 19th, a road contest against the Bloomington Blaze.
The 2012-13 home opener is set for Friday, October 26th at 7:05pm against the Denver Cutthroats. Tickets are still available for that contest by calling 716-7825 or online at www.gotmine.com.
