September 10, 2009 - Central Hockey League (CHL)
Rapid City Rush News Release

(Rapid City, SD)-After a successful 2008-2009 inaugural season, the Rush is ready for round two of Rapid City Professional Hockey. To kick start the season, there will be two Exhibition games on the weekend of October 9th and 10th against the Amarillo Gorillas. Exhibition tickets are on sale now for $10 a seat ($7 a seat for Season Ticket Holders). Both games will begin at 7:05 pm at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center Ice Arena. While these pre-season games will not count in the team's standings for the season, they will serve as a preview for what the Rush has in store for local hockey fans.

The Rush will host the Missouri Mavericks in their first home games on Friday, October 16th, and Saturday, October 17th at 7:05 pm. Game day tickets went on sale earlier this week and are available with single tickets starting at $15, and group rates from $11.

Tickets are available through the Civic Center's website www.GotMine.com or by calling 1-800- Got-Mine. This season, tickets for individual games can be purchased online up until an hour before the players hit the ice on game day.

Rapid City hockey fans can count on the continued fast-paced excitement that they experienced in the Rush's inaugural season. With a handful of fresh players, six theme nights, new specialty jerseys, and a wide variety of new entertainment, the Rush's second season is sure to be just as successful as the first.

Season tickets are still available: full season packages start at $399, half season packages from $200, and quarter season packages are available for as little as $100.

For further information on the upcoming season, call 605.716.PUCK (7825) or visit the Rush's website at www.rapidcityrush.com.
