Rush for the Cup 2013: Rush vs. Mavericks Opening Round Schedule

(Rapid City, SD) - The Rapid City Rush will face the Missouri Mavericks in a best-of-seven series for the opening round of the 2013 CHL playoffs. The 2012-13 regular season concluded on Sunday with a loss by the Mavs, meaning the Rush have claimed fourth place and home ice advantage for the series. The series begins in Rapid City this Friday and Saturday and individual tickets for games #1 and #2 go on sale tomorrow at 10am. Fans are encouraged to 'black out' the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center for all home playoff games as the Rush seek their second Presidents' Cup Championship.
The Rush and Mavericks series will follow a '2-3-2' format, with Rapid City hosting games #1 and #2 as well as #6 and #7 if necessary.
The entire opening round schedule is as follows:

Game 1 - Fri., Mar. 29 - Missouri at Rapid City, 7:05
Game 2 - Sat., Mar. 30 - Missouri at Rapid City, 7:05
Game 3 - Wed., Apr. 3 - Rapid City at Missouri, 7:05
Game 4 - Fri., Apr. 5 - Rapid City at Missouri, 7:05
*Game 5 - Sat., Apr. 6 - Rapid City at Missouri, 7:05
*Game 6 - Tue., Apr. 9 - Missouri at Rapid City, 6:35
*Game 7 - Wed., Apr. 10 - Missouri at Rapid City, 6:35
Playoff packages are still available through the Rush office and begin at $150. Individual tickets for games #1 and #2 will go on sale Monday, March 25th at 10am through the Civic Center box office, Rush office, or online at www.gotmine.com . Group of 10 or more will receive a discounted price of $11, while individual tickets begin at just $16.
