Mallards Host Playoff Games April 3 and April 5

MOLINE, Ill. (March 24, 2013) - The Quad City Mallards will host game three of their best-of-seven opening round Ray Miron President's Cup Playoff series against the Fort Worth Brahmas next Wednesday night, April 3 at 7:05 p.m. and will host game four of that series next Friday night, April 5 at 7:05 p.m., the Mallards announced today.

If a fifth game proves necessary, it would also be played at the i wireless Center on Saturday night, April 6 at 7:05 p.m. The Mallards will open the series on the road. The first two games of the Flock's match-up with the Brahmas will be played in Forth Worth later this week on days still to be announced. Likewise, potential sixth and seventh games would also be played in Forth Worth on dates yet to be announced.

Tickets for the Mallards' first round home playoff games are now on sale. All first round playoff seats will be available for just $12 for adults and $9 for youth 12 and under. In addition, adult opening round tickets for fans who wear green to playoff games as part of the Mallards' "Green Out", will be available for just $10 at the i wireless Center ticket office.

Playoff tickets can be purchased in person at the i wireless Center ticket office, at Ticketmaster outlets, through www.ticketmaster.com or through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000. The ticket office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the second period.

The Mallards (33-26-6, 72 points), who have won their last four games and posted a league-best record of 10-2-0 in March, clinched a sixth place finish with a 4-2 win over the Blaze last night in Bloomington. The Brahmas (36-22-8, 80 points) have finished the regular season in third place. The Mallards, who went 1-2-1 against Fort Worth during the regular season, will play their final regular season game today at 4:05 p.m. against the Blaze at the i wireless Center.
