The Saskatchewan Rush announced today that the club has acquired a second-round pick in the 2018 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft from the Vancouver Stealth in exchange for defenceman John Lintz.

A former third-round pick (2007) of the Calgary Roughnecks, Lintz played 87 career regular-season games for the Rush. Lintz played in 13 games last season, posting two assists, 31 loose balls, and five forced turnovers, and did not make an appearance in the playoffs.

"We wish John the very best in his future lacrosse endeavors as he was a solid player and character person for us over seven seasons," said Rush GM/head coach Derek Keenan.

The Rush hold the first and third overall picks in the 2016 NLL Entry Draft which takes place on Monday, Sept. 26 in Toronto.
