Black Wolves Announce 2017 Schedule

UNCASVILLE, Conn. - The New England Black Wolves open the 2017 National Lacrosse League regular season at Rochester against the Knighthawks on January 7th at 7:30 p.m.

That will be the first of three straight road games to begin the season before the Black Wolves open their home schedule with a rematch of the East Division Finals against the Buffalo Bandits on Saturday, January 28th at 7 p.m.

"We are excited about the upcoming season," Black Wolves General Manager Rich Lisk said. "Our schedule looks great, and it's a very fan friendly, with three Friday night games starting at 7:30 p.m., and four Sunday afternoon games starting at 1 p.m. We can't wait to get started."

The Black Wolves enjoyed one of the biggest turnarounds in NLL history last year, finishing 10-8 under first-year coach Glenn Clark. New England went on to defeat the Georgia Swarm in the first round of the playoffs before falling to Buffalo in the East Division Finals.

New England will host Friday night games against Rochester on February 3rd and March 17th, and Georgia on April 7th. Sunday games include Buffalo on February 19th, Colorado on February 26th, Georgia on March 3rd and Toronto on April 2nd. The final home game of the regular season will be Saturday, April 29th at 7 p.m. against Vancouver.
