
Rush 4th Annual "Tip-A-Player" Event Tonight

(RAPID CITY, SD) - The Rapid City Rush's 4THAnnual "Tip-A-Player" event will take place TONIGHT, February 25th, and will run from 5-9 PM at Buffalo Wild Wings.
The entire team will participate in the event and split up into two separate shifts. Each player will team up with a Special Olympics athlete and a Buffalo Wild Wings server to wait tables throughout the evening. All TIPS that the players receive will be donated to Special Olympics Rapid City Flame during that time period. This is the organization's fourth year showing support for Rapid City's local athletes with the help of Buffalo Wild Wings. The event raised $4,000 last year and $9,500 the prior year with corporate sponsorships included. WOW! has also generously donated a TV that the team will raffle off over the course of the next three home games and the night of the Tip-A-Player event at the restaurant. $1 gets you an entry into the raffle, with unlimited entries for each person. All proceeds will go to Special Olympics Rapid City Flame. Be sure to come out for great food and a great evening, and support your local athletes!
