WEEKEND RECAP: The Barrie Colts skated through their second straight weekend recording two victories as they improved their overall record to 15-8-1-1 and increased their Central Division lead to six points with 32 on the season.The Colts now stand 8-3-0-1 at the Molson Centre and 7-5-1-0 at home through 25 games this season, placing them fifth among OHL teams in both categories..November 17 vs. Mississauga: The club established a 1-0 lead on a Michael Lombardi goal (3) in the first period but the Ice Dogs took over in the second going up 2-1 causing the Colts to play catch up for the rest of the game.The club narrowed the gap to 5-4 late and sustained more pressure late but Ice Dogs goaltender Michael Ouzas shut the door as he made 42 saves overall..Hunter Tremblay (9), Bryan Little (18), and Travis Fuller (6) each scored third period powerplay goals for a Colts club that lost just their third home all season..Dan LaCosta made 27 saves and suffered the loss in goal..Barrie went 3-for-11 on the powerplay and the Ice Dogs went 2-for-8..November 18 @ Sudbury: The visiting Colts broke a seven game losing streak at the Sudbury Arena dated back to September 26, 2003 thanks to a 2-1 victory..The Colts limited the Wolves to just 20 shots in the game, and Dan LaCosta turned away 19 of those to improve his record to 11-5-1-1 on the season.Bryan Little (19) put the Colts ahead 1-0 in the second, and Mike Roelofsen (3) was the game's hero as the scored a shorthanded breakaway goal to break the 1-1 tie at the 11:17 mark of the second period..The Colts established a 1-for-13 rate with the man advantage and the home club went 1-for-9..November 19 vs. Oshawa: Playing against the Generals for the second time in less than seven days, the Colts established a 2-0 first period lead and never looked back on their way to a 5-2 final victory..Hunter Tremblay, with a pair (10,11), Mike Roelofsen (4), Matthieu Methot (6) and Andrew Marshall (12) scored goals for the home side, and Dan LaCosta made 26 saves to improve his record to 12-5-1-1 on the season..The victory improved the club's home record to 8-3-0-1 on the season, as they outshot the Generals 38 to 28..Barrie went 1-for-9 on the powerplay and killed off all seven of Oshawa's opportunities with the man-advantage

WHAT'S ON TAP: The Colts embark on another three-in-three weekend with divisional games scheduled Friday through Sunday..They begin things Friday night (7:30 p.m.) when they travel to the Hershey Centre to play the Ice Dogs (7-15-1-1)..It will be these two team's fourth of a total of six regular season meetings, as the Colts hold a 2-1 edge in the series and were defeated by a score of 5-4 last Thursday at home to Mississauga.The club Saturday will swing back home to host the Sudbury Wolves (12-9-0-1) at the Molson Centre (7:30 p.m.).The Colts previously defeated the Wolves by a score of 2-1 in Sudbury on Friday, and will play Sudbury a league high, eight times this season..They are 2-1 against Sudbury thus far.The club will close out the weekend Sunday afternoon (2:00 p.m.) when they visit the Brampton Battalion (13-10-0-0)..The Colts have defeated the Battalion on two occasions, and lost the other meeting 3-2 by way of a shootout.Going into this weekend, the Colts have established a 7-2-0-1 record this season against teams within their own division

PRACTICE SCHEDULE: The Colts were given Monday off and they will practice Tuesday through Thursday this week at the Molson Centre (3:00 - 4:45 p.m.)

INJURY & ROSTER UPDATES: Defenseman Kyle van de Bospoort is still recovering from the after-effects of mononucleosis but has joined the team and started to skate on his own ..He is listed as week-to-week and has missed the club's last 20 games..Left-winger Ryan Hamilton has missed the club's last four games due to an upper body injury he suffered November 12 against Brampton, and is expected to return to action this weekend

PRELIMINARY RANKINGS: The NHL's Central Scouting Bureau released their preliminary rankings list for North America on Friday.Making the list for the Colts was Bryan Little and Matthieu Methot, as the Bureau ranked eligible players from the OHL, WHL, QMJHL and NCAA in relation to their own leagues.Bryan Little was ranked in the number two spot among OHL skaters, right behind Jordan Staal of Peterborough, meanwhile, Methot made the list at number 19 in the OHL.The 2006 Entry draft will take place in Vancouver, BC

AMONG ONTARIO'S ELITE: The Hockey Development Centre of Ontario named the Ontario Under-17 team in a press conference earlier today in Oshawa and making the team from the Colts is 16-year old defenseman Blake Parlett..This year's club will compete in the 2006 World Hockey Challenge scheduled for December 28 - January 4 in Regina Saskatchewan.Barrie's first round pick last May, Parlett has accumulated two assists and is a plus four through 21 games so far this season... "Getting a chance to compete against some of the best players in the country is something I'm looking forward to," stated Parlett at the Colts' practice today.. "It's a great honour being selected, and I'm excited about the experience."

CURRENT PLAYER STREAKS: Bryan Little has recorded points in his last five games dated back to November 12 with (5g-6a-11) totals throughout this span, and Mike Roelofsen has a two game points streak going with (2-1-3) totals in his last two

SPECIAL TEAMS SUMMARY: Barrie's powerplay dropped from fifth to seventh overall at 21.2% with 46 goals through 217 opportunities, meanwhile the penalty kill improved to seventh from eight, currently at 83.0% having killed off 171 of 206 total shorthanded situations.Of the club's 86 goals, 46 have been scored on the powerplay, while 35 of their 69 against have been scored on the opposition's man-advantages

IN THE GOALS DEPARTMENT: The Colts have scored 86 goals this season and have allowed 69, placing them in a tie for seventh and fourth alone respectively in these categories
