LAST GAME RECAP: The Rumble Ponies topped the Fightin Phils , 4-2, behind a four-run first inning on Saturday at NYSEG Stadium. Justin Dunn tossed seven innings for his first win since July 21 - he allowed just two hits and one run. Andres Gimenez & Joey Terdoslavich combined for four of the Ponies seven hits.

BINGHAMTON STARTER: RHP Kevin McGowan makes his fourth Eastern League start and second straight against Reading. Last Sunday, McGowan was touched for six runs over five innings in a loss at the Fightin Phils. He's lost three of his four Eastern League appearances this season and has not picked up a win since June 27 when he was with Las Vegas (Triple-A).

AWESOME AUGUST: The Rumble Ponies have won 10 of their first 16 games in August. They've already matched their win total from June (10-17) and are one from tying their win totals from April (11-10) & July (11-18).

SHOW PONIES: Binghamton has rattled off three straight wins for the first time since August 1-4. The Rumble Ponies have won four of the last five games.

BIG INNING: The Rumble Ponies four-run first inning marks the third straight game in which Binghamton has scored at least three runs in an inning (August 16: five-run fifth; August 17: three-run seventh).

FLAILING PHILS: Binghamton arms have limited Reading's four through nine batters to a 1-for-42 clip in the first two games of the series. Malquin Canelo's ninth-inning blast on Saturday is the lone hit.

CLOSE CALLS: 18 of the last 19 Rumble Ponies games have been decided by five or fewer runs. Eight of those contests finished with a one-run margin.

GLOVE LOVE: Binghamton has not made an error in five straight games and has committed just one fielding blunder over the last 10. The Rumble Ponies rank fourth in Eastern League fielding percentage and have made 91 errors this season.

ARMS DEALING: Rumble Ponies starters have pitched at least five innings in 13 consecutive starts..

FIGHTIN THE PHILS: All five games in the regular season series have been decided by three or fewer runs.

CLOSING TIME: Reading leads Binghamton three games to two in the regular season series, heading into Sunday's finale.
