MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies (7-9) exploded for six runs in the seventh inning, which led to a 7-6 victory over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on Wednesday night at Delta Dental Stadium.
The Fisher Cats got out to a 2-1 lead on a sacrifice fly from Riley Tirotta and an RBI double from Phil Clarke. The Ponies got their first run on Wyatt Young's solo home run in the third inning. It was Young's second home run of the year.
With the Ponies down 2-1 with one out in the top of the seventh, Jeremiah Jackson tied the game with a solo homer. It was Jackson's second home run of the season. The next three batters reached with a single from Rowdey Jordan and walks from Young and Matt Rudick.
With the bases loaded and one out, Rhylan Thomas put the Ponies in front 3-2 with a sacrifice fly that scored Jordan. Alex Ramírez followed with an RBI single that made it 4-2. The next batter was Kevin Parada, and he clobbered a three-run home run to right field that put Binghamton up 7-2. It was Parada's second homer of the year.
