Ruggeri recalled by Phantoms

TRENTON, NJ (November 27, 2005) - The Trenton Titans announced on Sunday that defenseman Rosario Ruggeri has been recalled to the Philadelphia Phantoms of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Ruggeri, 21, heads to the Phantoms for the second time this season having appeared one game during his first call-up. The second-year veteran from Montreal, Quebec is tied for the lead among Titans defenseman with 5 points (1g, 4a) in 13 games.

In a separate transaction, Mark Wires was been placed on waivers. A second-year pro, Wires chipped in 2 assists and 4 penalty minutes in 8 games for Trenton.
