Royals' Single Game Tickets on Sale September 1st

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals are pleased to announce that single game tickets for the 2011-12 season, including the September 16th exhibition game, will go on sale at the Select Your Tickets' box office starting at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 1st, but there will also be two chances to 'beat the box office' for the Royals' inaugural game on September 24th prior to that.

The first opportunity will allow Season Ticket holders and Mini-Pack holders to pre-buy tickets to the home opener beginning on Monday, August 29th.

Fans will also be given the chance to 'beat the box-office' by attending the National Bank Financial Group Intra-Squad game on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Single game tickets will be on sale through Select Your Tickets starting at 6 p.m.

"With adult ticket prices starting as low as $12, we are excited to have tiered single game pricing being offered for the upcoming Royals hockey season," Director of Ticketing Devin Mazur said. "The September 24th home opener will be an electric atmosphere and we expect enormous demand for the debut of the Royals. If Season Ticket and Mini Pack sales are any indication, fans should move quickly to secure their seat."

Fans will have the chance to catch exciting WHL action 36 times live in Victoria as the Royals welcome opponents such as the Vancouver Giants, Prince George Cougars, Red Deer Rebels and Portland Winterhawks.

Before the regular season kicks off, the Royals host the Kelowna Rockets in exhibition action on Friday, September 16 at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre in a preview of exciting WHL action coming to Victoria this fall. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.

Prices for single game tickets range from $12 in the upper corner and end sections, $15 for seats in the corners and ends, $18 and $19.50 for seats along the sides and $25 for club seats. There are also child rates of $12 and senior/student rates of $15 in all non-club seating.
