Offensive Fireworks During Day Two of Training Camp

Morning Session
It was the final time that the combined 95 and 96 age groups had their scrimmage and 16 year old Morgan Klimchuk and his Team Red defeated Team Grey 6-5, which prompted this tweet from Morgan:

The final vet scrimmage had a bit of a chippy feel as players picked up the competitive level. Jordan Weal led Team White and Garrett Mitchell led Team Blue
Night Session
For the first time, all 70 players were combined to make 4 teams with the first scrimmage featuring Lane Scheidl and Chandler Stephenson with Team Red against Brandon Davidson and Jordan Weal's Team White.
The first saw the teams exchange goals back and forth with the second period turning into an offensive explosion. For Team Red, Dyson Stevenson, Keinan Scott and Dylan Hykawy scored as Jordan Weal and Landon Peel replied for Team White.
The highlight of the third was a great pass from Lyndon Martell to Dryden Hunt for a breakaway goal.
Pats fans came out in the final scrimmage of the day and saw Team Blue pick up three goals in the first (2 by Conner Gay and one by Dayton Picard) all assisted by Braden Cristoffer. Picard and Garrett Mitchell scored again for Team Blue in the second. The goaltending of Matt Hewitt and Rylan Toth did the rest for the Team Blue win over Team Grey.

"Camp helps us (the veteran players) get your feet under yourself. The off-season is about getting ready for the season, you try to stay on the ice but it's not all there. Playing against some good players out here definitely helps a lot."

5:30pm-7:00pm Team Red vs. Team Grey Mixed
7:15pm-8:45pm Team Blue vs. Team White Mixed
All practices are at the Co-operators Centre and are open to the public
Prairie Mobile Blue and White Game
Training Camp will run Saturday with multiple sessions. Camp will conclude with a Sunday afternoon edition of the annual Prairie Mobile Blue and White game. The puck is set to drop at 2pm at the Co-operators Centre.
