Victoria Royals News Release
Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals would like to announce that Royals' replica jerseys will go on sale this Friday, October 14th before the first game of a doubleheader against the Kelowna Rockets that evening. Puck drop at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
In advance of the Friday night matchup, a random line-up policy will be implemented between 4:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. outside of the Royals' Court entrance at Gate 1 of the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. All fans in line will be given a number and a random draw will determine who is first in line, with the lineup following sequentially from that point. At 5:30 p.m. doors will open so that those patrons in line wishing to purchase a jersey may do so.
As this on-sale takes place within the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre prior to a Royals' home game, all fans looking to purchase a jersey must have a valid ticket to Friday night's game.
A limited amount of youth and adult size jerseys in both the Royals' White and Blue colours will be available. Prices for the jerseys range from $90.00 + HST for youth jerseys to $115.00 + HST for adult replica jerseys. Quantities are limited to one jersey per person.
As part of this exciting release of Royals' merchandise, the team has also announced a contest for a lucky advanced ticket purchaser to win a jersey. Any fan who purchases a ticket to this Friday's Victoria Royals game over the phone, online or in person between now and 3:00 p.m. on Friday will be automatically entered into a draw to win a large blue adult Victoria Royals jersey at the game that night.
