
Royals Host Silvertips for Fan Appreciation Night

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals will welcome the Everett Silvertips to Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on Friday for the final home game of the regular season. Friday's contest is Fan Appreciation Night with puck drop scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
RECORD SETTING: The Victoria Royals have scored 237 goals this season, which is two markers away from breaking the franchise record for most tallies scored in a single season. The current record was set last season when the club scored 238 times.
GONE STREAKING: With back-to-back shutouts over the weekend, Royals' goaltender Coleman Vollrath's shutout streak sits at 129:31 minutes. Vollrath's last goal against came at the 10:29 mark of the third period on Wednesday, March 11th vs. the Kelowna Rockets. The Royals' record for the longest shutout streak is held by Patrik Polivka at 139:04 minutes during the 2013-14 season, while the franchise mark is 153:56 set by Matt Esposito in the 2006-07 campaign.
FRIDAY - FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT
The Royals would like to thank all of their fans for their continuous support this season with a variety of prizes to be won throughout the game.

The package includes two tickets to the April 9th home game vs the Arizona Coyotes, accommodation at the Coast Plaza Hotel and dinner for two at The Keg Steakhouse and Bar.

The Royals will have home ice advantage in the first round of the 2015 WHL Playoffs with Game 1 & 2 of the best-of-seven series occurring at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Game 1 will take place on Friday, March 27th and Game 2 on Saturday, March 28th.
