Portland Winterhawks News Release
With the Portland Winterhawks having clinched at least second place in the U.S. Division, the team will have home ice advantage in the first round of the playoffs and open the postseason on Saturday, March 28.
Game 1 of the first round will take place Saturday, March 28 at Veterans Memorial Coliseum at 6 p.m., with Game 2 set for Sunday, March 29 at 5 p.m. at the Moda Center.
The special 6 p.m. start time for Game 1 is due to a Trail Blazers game taking place that night at 7 p.m. at the Moda Center, and the staggered start times will help accommodate fans of both teams both before and after the games.
