His 3.69 ERA on the season is tied for 5th-best in the PCL. *** Berroa's home run last night was his 1st round-tripper and 1st RBI in his last 11 games. His last homer came on July 22 at Rosenblatt and was also off Ginter. Berroa's 4 hits Monday were a season high and jumped his average from .286 to .297. *** The blast by Berroa marked the 29th time the Royals have scored in the 1st inning of a game this season. He is 2-3 with a 2.94 ERA and 1 save in 18 games (2 starts) for KC.
