
Royals Forward Ryan Cruthers Undergoes Successful Appendectomy

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL and the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the AHL, announced that forward Ryan Cruthers underwent a successful appendectomy today in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He is currently resting and doing well. He is expected to rejoin the Royals, who play the Kalamazoo Wings at Wings Stadium in Kalamazoo tomorrow (Friday, February 20 @ 7:30 pm), in the immediate future. More information will be forthcoming with respect to when Cruthers is expected to return to action.
