Royals Annual Pink in the Rink Night Next Saturday

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals would like to remind fans that the fourth annual Pink in the Rink Night takes place on Saturday, October 25th vs. the Vancouver Giants.

This season the Royals moved their annual event to October to coincide with Breast Cancer Awareness month.

Tickets to Saturday's contest are still available, but moving quickly. The Royals are offering $55 Family Packs that include four tickets to Saturday's game and two pink banner clappers. Victoria will be donating $10 from every Family Pack and $3 from every individual adult ticket purchased at the Select Your Tickets Box Office window before the afternoon of Friday, October 24th to the BC Cancer Foundation.

Pink banner clappers will be available to fans upon entrance by donation to the BC Cancer Foundation. The Royals will be wearing a limited edition jersey honouring the BC Cancer Foundation and Pink in the Rink for Saturday night's game. After the game there will be a live jersey auction on the ice for Marty the Marmot's jersey, and the game worn jerseys of Victoria players, Brandon Magee, Tyler Soy and Travis Brown. All proceeds from the auctioned pink jerseys will benefit the BC Cancer Foundation.

The Royals wrap up their six game road trip with contests tonight vs. the Lethbridge Hurricanes and tomorrow, October 18th against the Kootenay Ice. Puck drop for both games are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
