Royals Announce Training Camp Schedule

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals fourth season since relocating from Columbus, Ohio in August of 2000 officially begins on Sunday, October 10 when players report to Reading for physicals and training camp. Players, coaches and support staff will report for photos and physicals beginning at 8:00 a.m. Training camp officially begins on Monday, October 11 at 10:00 a.m. in the Sovereign Center. Other highlights during training camp week are the Royals Season Ticket holder Meet-n-Greet on Tuesday evening and the Royals Charities' Faceoff Luncheon at the Classic Café in Bern Township with all proceeds to benefit charity.

The Royals face off their fourth season on Friday, October 22 in Trenton, New Jersey against the Trenton Titans. Both teams travel to the Sovereign Center in Reading on Saturday, October 23 for the Royals home opener at 7:05 p.m. Get to the game early for the Quadrant Engineering "Bleed Purple Block Party" beginning at 2:00 p.m. Live entertainment, kid's games, Miller-Keystone Blood Center, Alex's Lemonade Stand and food vendors will be on Penn Street, between 7th and 8th Streets, outside the Sovereign Center.
