Royals Announce 2013-14 Training Camp Roster

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League and the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League, today announced the team's 2013-14 Training Camp Roster. The Royals' Training Camp Roster, which is currently comprised of twenty-seven players (fourteen forwards, nine defensemen, and four goaltenders), is set out below.

The on-ice practice sessions for Training Camp begin tomorrow morning (Saturday, October 5) at 10:00 am at the Sovereign Center. The full Training Camp Schedule is set out below. All Training Camp on-ice practice sessions will be held at the Sovereign Center and are open to the public.

Berks Community Television (BCTV) will celebrate the opening of Training Camp with a replay of the decisive Game Five of the Kelly Cup Championship Finals against the Stockton Thunder (which was played on May 25, 2013) on Saturday (October 5) at 7:00 pm with an encore running on Sunday (October 6) at 9:00 am. BCTV can be accessed in Berks County, Pennsylvania, on Comcast Reading Cable Channel 2, Service Electric Cable Channel 19, and Comcast Southern Berks Channel 965.

The Royals kick off the defense of the team's 2013 Kelly Cup Championship on Saturday, October 19, 2013, (7:35 pm), at the Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania, with the 2013-14 season opener against the South Carolina Stingrays. The Royals also face the Stingrays on Sunday, October 20 (4:05 pm) in Game Two of Opening Weekend. Season Tickets for the 2013-14 Reading Royals are currently available.
