Royals Acquire Jaren Brinson from Regina Pats

Victoria, BC - The Victoria Royals announced today the acquisition of 2004-born defenceman Jaren Brinson from the Regina Pats in exchange for a 2025 6th-round pick, and a 2027 9th-round pick.

Brinson has appeared in 27 games for the Pats this season where he has tallied one goal and added four assists for five points.

The product of Airdrie, AB, has played 173 games in the WHL across four seasons split between Prince George, Winnipeg, Spokane and Regina. Over that time, he has registered six goals and 18 assists for 24 points.

The 6'2", 174-pound blueliner was originally selected 36th overall in the second round of 2019 WHL Prospects Draft by the Prince George Cougars.
