
Royals Acquire Caleb Willms from Medicine Hat

Victoria, B.C. - The Victoria Royals have acquired 2002-born forward Caleb Willms from the Medicine Hat Tigers for a conditional sixth round pick in the 2024 WHL Bantam Draft.
Willms was signed by Medicine Hat in 2018 and has been with the team ever since. While with the Tigers, the 5'11" one-hundred and seventy-six-pound winger played in 52 games scoring five goals and ten assists. Prior to joining Medicine Hat, the Cochrane, AB native spent two seasons with the Airdrie CFR Bisons U18 AAA of the Alberta Midget Hockey League (AMHL).
Ed Fowler, Director of Player Personnel believes Willms will be a welcomed addition to the team. "Caleb is a hardworking player that will bring energy to our lineup. We look forward to having him here," Fowler said.
Willms will travel to Victoria today and is scheduled to be in the lineup for this evening's matchup against Prince George.
